Myanmar

By area, Myanmar is the largest country in mainland South-East Asia and has a small domestic wine industry despite its tropical climate. Rising exports, local consumption and domestic investment fueled and 8% growth between 2014 – 2015. The easing of internation sanctions has benefied Myanmar’s economic development and has encouraged foreign investment. There are a series of restrictions on import channels, as hotels and duty free stores are the only legal importers of alcoholic beverages.
